Ergodox, moonlander, kinesis advantage 2/360. All of them are wired or have a wired only option. They are also programmable which might be another security issue you have to work around for your work. I can’t use any of my split keebs at work because of that.

You'd have to check with your own IT department, but you don't need to install any software to use a Kinesis Advantage 2. And you can program the macros on another computer (Never have actually used this feature). You can also reprogram the keys on another computer. So you can program the keyboard a

What I would recommend depends on the specific use case. Personally: None of the above. This is a chicken and egg problem. People go with whatever is available, which further reinforces what's on offer. It's actually wild to me that a list of "60% keyboards" has keyboards with barely 60 keys. Like,

Essentially what this does is duplicates the key layout you are currently using/set to (qwerty or dv

I've been using kinesis advantage2 for a while. I can get about 90-100 wpm on that one. The 5x3 normal typing I can get to 50 wpm. The normal wpm doesn't reflect the typing speed in coding though, which involves a lot of movement and symbols. I got a Corne 5x3 a few weeks back. The problem is switch

I use one of the thumb keys for the layer switching. I have the default QWERTY layout almost intact, I've only remaped the four arrow keys and some of the thumb keys. My "arrow" keys are actually < backspace - enter --- enter - backspace > (from left to right). Regardless of that, I really dislike t
