I have a Kinesis Advantage 2. For me it is not about the switches, but the ergonomics. The thumb cluster is such a good quality of life feature, I don't understand why isn't mainstream. The thumbs are our strongest fingers and what we do with them? Hitting the same giant spacebar... It's just stupid

I was making this decision recently, and while initially I was leaning towards the Moonlander, I eventually realized the voyager was the better option for me. I'm sure you've considered your personal pros and cons of each. For me, the overall benefits of the voyager won out, and I'm super happy with

I’ve been using the Kinesis Contoured (now Advantage 2) since 1994. It was a game changer for me. Finding one for free is insanely lucky. There are many mods/upgrades worth considering: replacing the keycaps (SA row 3), replace the controller, adding damping inside, and advanced: swapping switches (

I come from a Kinesis Advantage2 which has a ton of thumb keys and had the same experience as you with the Moonlander. On the contrary the two thumb keys on the Voyager are very well placed and I just need to worry and use two keys per thumb. The experience has been so good for the 9+ months I’ve ha

They sell customized Kinesis keyboards and are willing to work on aftermarket Kinesis keyboards. So I just bought a Kinesis Advantage 2 from eBay and then sent i

20+ years ago I switched to a thumb trackball for pain in my arm and I love it. I made three changes all at once, so I am not 100% sure which one fixed what. I was having horrible pain where I thought I would have to switch to a new career. I made these changes.- Thumb trackball mouse (https://www.a

Ergodox, moonlander, kinesis advantage 2/360. All of them are wired or have a wired only option. They are also programmable which might be another security issue you have to work around for your work. I can’t use any of my split keebs at work because of that.

You'd have to check with your own IT department, but you don't need to install any software to use a Kinesis Advantage 2. And you can program the macros on another computer (Never have actually used this feature). You can also reprogram the keys on another computer. So you can program the keyboard a
