Kindle Paperwhite

My 2012 paperwhite works just fine. I am FURIOUS about this. Is there any other option for an e reader that works though? I hate reading on my phone. I don't really want to buy another kindle after this.

I went from a 3rd generation kindle to a paperwhite, which i hate. I think the summary is spot on.

It's a few things: I really, really like page turn buttons. I understand having a touchscreen on these devices, but when the vast majority of your time is going forwards or backwards, in a book, why wouldn't you have buttons for that? So I have an immediate bend against devices that don't have them.

On top of the millions of other problematic things, it really bothers me that she had to have one of the fancier/pricier kindles. She is not using it to it's full capability and would've been fine with a regular basic kindle or kindle paperwhite. Instead, she had to be made for more..
