I will say that there are also plenty of people that have not had any bad experiences. In the last year I have ordered a K5 Max and a V6 Max (orders were a few months apart). I use both of them daily and I have not had a single issue. Like I have seen on here i order them via Amazon to avoid having

I switched from a Keychron K5 Max to a Nuphy and haven’t looked back… the Keychron felt very cheap and plasticky and I had to make 2 warranty claims on it. I try ink their newer offerings are probably better, but I’m much happier here

There is a K5 Max. Though it may or may not be affected by the Keychron 2024 design and production quality issues with keychattering and missed keystrokes.

Wanna know the biggest irony? I could buy the K5 Max + ABS shine-thru. PBT opaque is a NO GO for me. I have only TWO basic requirements for ANY kayboard. N1: it needs to be wireless and N2: it needs to have backlit keys that are visible in the dark. I've been using wireless backlit keyboards since t

I've been struggling with this too The "killer feature" MX Keys have brought to me is the 1/2/3 easy connection buttons, and I'm a fan of scissor keys. Just got a Keychrom K5 Max to see if I like it It's got low profile keys - not quite scissors, but it's not horrible (got red linear switches rather

The day before yesterday I unboxed the keyboard. The BT and USB modes work normally. The 2.4G mode wasn’t working. When switching to this mode, the keyboard didn’t react at all. The pairing LED didn’t blink (it should blink green), and the key backlight didn’t turn on. I already have a Keychron K5 PRO

I ended up giving away my Nuphy Air75 V2 because I thought it felt a little flimsy for the price & I ended up not being a fan of the clip-on stabilizers. I moved away from low-profile boards, but my daily driver is a Keychron & I love everything about it. From the looks of it, the K5 Max has screw-i

Re "maybe it's a key issue": It could be, but there are more likely causes, like cold solder joints. First isolate the problem to, for example, either the switch or the position on the keyboard, by moving switches around. Related: Keychron 2024 design and production quality issues with keychattering
