R3 Meta

Setup is Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen2 --> MiniDSP Flex --> Yamaha A-S3200 --> MoFi Sourcepoint 10 ME's + Hsu TN-1 Got the MoFi's earlier this year, replacing my KEF R3 Metas which were moved into the theater room where they will be on full-time movie/games duty from here on. What can I say about the MoFi's

KEF R-series is what I have right now. My KEF R3 Metas sound incredible. My dream setup would be the Focal Grande Utopia Em Evo’s. But I would literally need my house to be built around them, they are fucking huge lol

The kefs are excellent speakers. I think they play well with untreated rooms bc they’re not quite as wide as the bmr. You know you like them, I’d try to listen to r3 meta if you haven’t yet.

Was using Qobuz but switched to TIDAL because (a) Cheaper and (b) Supports Dolby Atmos (obviously for my Sonos speaker). Also sounds so good through my Hegel H190 powered KEF R3 Metas via Roon.

While the upgrade kits can be controversial, and I can see the benefit for those that love a specific speaker/design and wanting it to be the best, the GR Research speakers are fantastic. They may not be to everybody's taste or preference, but the models reviewed usually get good reviews. GR designs

I love my R3 Meta with dual subs integrated with room perfect. Most people would probably say my equipment vastly exceeds my speaker (ie spend 80% of your budget on speakers) but I have yet to see a set I would want to move up to. Digital has less distortion. Streaming is just easier than cds. Tidal and quoboz are just as cheap as spotify and you get lossless audio. KEFs are worth their Price Point. I have R3 Meta for my TT 2-Channel setup and they are great. Paired with REL/9x.

Also have this problem. KEF R3 Metas, they draw you in. A couple of songs ends up being hours and too many beers.
