Agreed on the cutting out. I've owned the lsx (nice sound not too loud but no end of issues) Ls50 I borrowed - better than the lsx amped with a wiim amp ultra - but also has some connectivity issues, you can't use in a tv set up as like the lsx they need bass so too expensive for what they are I fou

I know My issue with theses kefs is once bitten twice shy… but I agree they sound great versus other internally amped speakers … there is some total garbage out there like the praised Kanto yu6… which don’t hold a candle on sound quality to the kef lsx’s and show why spending $500 doesn’t get you go

If you listen to a system and like it then there is no bad decision. You might have picked a different combination that is slightly better for your money but it wouldn't be a huge difference. I tried the upgrade only the amplifier route for my parents system. Amp + tuner, Receiver (one box), another
