Are Kanto Yu6 good speakers for producing?

You'll need studio monitors, not bookshelf speakers like the Kanto YU6. Bookshelf speakers are designed to sound good, for consumers. Studio monitors are designed to sound accurate, for producers.

Why are LSX II $1500 on their site and only $500 at my local Costco?

I have Kanto YU6 for my computer. The KEF's are night and day better than the Kanto's... The Kanto's play louder but the clarity is just not there.. KEF all the way and yes a no brainer versus the LSX 2

ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41 for desktop speakers

It is nicer to be able to listen to the choices yourself if at all possible. Bluetooth is compressed and in general lossy and to be avoided if you have Airplay 2 or wi-fi (uPnP, DLNA, Chromecast). HDMI for Tv or computer - most computers support more than one HDMI or DP output.USB for easy control f

Using a PC as my source running lossless through Roon (massive difference) I am super happy with this setup. I've been through a bunch of setups over the years from A

Starke Sound Beta 5 Yay or Nay?

I'll experiment with x-over settings and I also have some foam laying around that is perfect to size some port blockers; they'll only be about 6" from the wall, unfortunately. Which is why I also considered the Triangle Borea BRO3. The Beta 5s are now 30mi away so I should get them, tomorrow. I'm us

First turntable advise

https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/kanto-yu6-measurements-powered-monitor.27342/ Read this or study the test data. Rolloff starting at 100hz quasi-anechoic, so irl with boundary reinforcement it won't be quite that bad, but maybe you'll get 80hz, maybe 70hz being very generou

KC62 vs. LS50W2

To clarify I haven't heard the ren (these are much newer) but have briefly used the kanto yu6 bookshelf speakers in my lounge (after I got truly pissed off with the lsx working intermittently) - though they are ultimately a similar size to the kanto ren Whilst the yu6 go louder than the kef's the cl
