Don’t let this Sub Scare you from Getting Started
Thank you for this!! This sub is so rough in new comers. I started with an AT-LP60 and some edifier speakers bundled together from TTL and I was SO happy. Fast forward 3 years and I decided to give those things to my Nephew who was itching to get in to this too. I didn’t have tons of money to spend

Is a preamp worth it for my setup?
u/Document_8 - I got a Kanto SUB8 subwoofer for $250 (holiday sale) a few weeks ago. It pairs perfectly with your YU6 from Kanto, with a simple sub-out cable that it comes with. Would probably enjoy it a lot!

Better Bundle for a 1st time buyer?
Speakers: What are your room dimensions? Compact Kanto YU4 have small 4" mid bass drivers for a small room or desk and are a good price for $250 in the bundle with the $600 turntable for starter speakers and then later upgrade to $600+ speakers up to or past the quality level of the $600 turntable.

KC62 vs. LS50W2
I looked into the Kanto TUK when I was getting the YU6 and there were too many negative opinions on the high end 'brightness' essentially saying it would start to be painful... so I just got the YU6 as a stop gap whilst I found some R3's (there was no way I was going to pay anywhere near retail on R

best affordable preamp
I had the R1700BTs to try...boxed them right back. The Kanto YU was so much better if I was going active 4". The Kanto YU6 would be really dandy I bet, add a sub of choice, Kanto's or another small one like a Polk and would sound really delightful in the correct sized [smaller] room. Natually upgrad

Speaker Advice
Depends on your budget and size, but Kanto Yu4 or Yu6 are good. You can also get a receiver(with Bluetooth compatibility) and get two powered speakers.

Help me decide what to listen to an RT82 on
At this price point I'd say to go with the biggest woofers, so I'd buy Magnat, Polk, Edifer in that order. I can't help you with the amps. Sorry. Personally, I'd skip all that and just buy these 👇🏻 I think it's a killer deal on good speakers that fit everything you're trying to do: https://www.bestbu

BEGINNER HELP NEEDED
RT81 has a built-in preamp. I'd get these for $400 - https://www.bestbuy.com/product/kanto-yu6-powered-speakers-with-bluetooth-and-built-in-phono-preamp--auto-standby-and-startup--pair-matte-blue/J38CPQVLSH

First turntable advise
Currently using Kanto Yu6 for about a year with my 1210MK2. For me and my needs it’s enough since there’s no possibility to just sit and listen to music in some private audiophile space. Personally I like how my combination sounds especially compared with my previous “dumb” setup - Sony PS-LX310 + s

My first TT ! Pioneer PL-518, would love some guidance.
I think this stylus would work with that cart: https://www.lpgear.com/product/SHSR0025XT.html I know this would put you a tiny bit over budget, but I think this is a killer deal on these speakers: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/kanto-yu6-powered-speakers-with-bluetooth-and-built-in-phono-preamp--au
