My N97 Mini PC Just Arrived but It’s Running Super Sluggish – Need Advice!
Unlike some of the others in this class of mPC, the budget CYX built Kamrui models often come with underclocked DDR4 & SATA M.2s as a cost-cutting measure. Taking some time to run Windows Updates in the background. You'll want to verify that ALL Windows Updates are complete, including restarts, if w

Most reliable brands - just starting my search
Beyond major OEMs, the majority of these Chi-NUC brands haven't been in the NUC/mPC manufacturering long enough to provide a long-term reputation. A couple of years ago, Acemagic, Beelink & Minisforum were the preferred brands. In 2025, AooStar, Beelink & GMKtec have become more popular. Beelink cur

Do these mini PCs (I bought a few SER5s) have TPM?
All recent processors from Intel & AMD has built in fTPM on them and yes Windows 11 required TPM, you basically got the answer now. But if your brilliant IT colleague want nothing short of dTPM to exert full control of you company fortune (/s), the option will be limited to Mini PC models from big t

Do you recommend I buy an Acemagic mini PC?
Bad support, cheap parts, known to have pre-installed malware. The issue with a lot of Acemagic/Kamrui/Acemagician miniPCs is that, even if you do a fresh install of Windows, the drivers for the insanely obscure parts like wifi can only be found on obscure chinese websites or forums.

The Amazon Algorithm is Doing its Job...
You have to be careful with these "Amazon's Choice" recommendations, especially on mini PCs as they are often ASIN swaps. Let's look at the low quality build Kamrui for example. The current Pinova P2 4300U B0BC7S9R5C ASIN and reviews were originally for a GK3 Plus N95 if you go through the informati

Mini PC Recommendation
The AceTragic/Kamrui brands tend to have poor build quality and even worse customer service. Currently Beelink and GMKtec seem to have the best reputation on the forum. Even then, it's best to buy from Amazon Prime where 30-day satisfaction and returns are guaranteed. "Light Gaming" can push basic c

Im considering this KAMRUI
Well the N95 is a cheap version of the N100. Definitely can't beat it. Has weaker graphics. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/5206vs5157vs6304vs5337vs3421/Intel-N95-vs-Intel-N100-vs-Intel-N150-vs-Intel-N97-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3500U These Kamrui/Acemagic minis are known to be cheap and not dependable.

How’s guys experience been with Acemagic S1 or S3A minipc?
Due to concerns with CYX (Acemagic, Acemagician, Kamrui, NiPoGi, etc) build quality & customer service in the past couple of years, most Redditors on this subReddit have moved on to AooStar, Beelink, Geekom & GMKtec as a long-term investment.

Are lower-performance miniPCs less likely to break?
This is more a question about the manufacturer, component/assembly quality control & brand. Indeed, heat dissipation does play a factor, although if one starts off with a poor quality product, the experience can only go down from there. Take your 5500U for example. The Lucienne Zen 2 5000 series (57
