200€ best speaker +subwoofer
I’m bit of a subwoofer snob, and so I don’t think that there would be any subwoofers in Europe anywhere close to your budget. (My personal opinion on a subwoofer is that it should get pretty close to 20Hz for it to qualify as a real subwoofer. And those kinds of products sadly aren’t cheap. In Europ

Best sound system for an audio-technica AT-LP3 (under $500-$750)
Ordinarily, I’d recommend active speakers for anyone with your budget who plans on a digital source like a streaming service (Spotify, Tidal or Qobuz). But because you want your primary source to be an Audio Technical turntable, you will need a preamp with a phono stage as well as active speakers. I

DJing from a Conservatory - best near field speakers?
Did you ask Colonel Mustard? (Clue joke, jk) I really love my Kali Audio IN5 speakers paired with the WS 6.2 subwoofer. I use this setup in my studio that has similar dimensions to yours (finished third floor space). The speakers are very directional, and once you dial in the sweet spot the soundsta

Front ported near field studio monitors with high vertical dispersion
With active studio monitors, I don’t think that you would need to limit yourself based on the location of the bass reflex port. Reflex port itself will work if you have a minimum of two times port diameter distance to the wall. But regarding the low frequency gain, that’s why those speakers have swi

can you suggest balanced speakers with bit bass heavy hit within 1000$?
Does that budget include DACs, Amps, an interface, etc? Or just the Speakers? For just speakers, Kali Audio IN-8 V2. Front ported and should play down to around 50 Hz. Can save for a subwoofer later. Otherwise maybe Kali Audio LP-6 V2 with a Topping DX5 II as your DAC / Pre-amp. Also has a solid hea

What Studio Monitors Should I Buy?
I have a pair of Adam’s A4V, great speakers for a smaller space. I did have to add a sub (Kali Audio WS-6.2) to round them off. keep this in mind.

D3V with Subwoofer
What did you get after all? I've had the D3V's and the Presonus Eris Sub 8BT for about a year now. Not the best subwoofer for what I wanted because the subwoofer doesn't hit below 30hz, and doesn't have a footswitch for bypass. I'm happy for now, but currently looking at the Kali Audio WS-6.2 Subwoo

Need Help - which sub to pair with studio monitors?
You wouldn’t control the volume in the miniDSP 2x4 HD (ASR review). You would do it before it in your audio interface or studio controller. RCA cables should be just fine in home environments. Regarding configuration, you should consider also getting the UMIK-1 measurement microphone. It would make

Subwoofer rec for stereo speakers
I haven’t seen reviews of Adam’s active studio monitor subwoofers, but here’s one from Kali Audio: Kali Audio WS-6.2 (EAC YT review). Note that “active studio monitor subwoofers” get you slightly less power and low frequency extension for your dollar than regular hi-fi / home audio subwoofers (i.e.

A birthday gift to myself:)
You need certain size woofers to reach low frequencies, and depending on listening distances, SPL levels. These would be slightly smaller: Kali Audio IN-5 (EAC review) (Thomann listing) KEF Q1 Meta You could consider adding a subwoofer like the Kali Audio WS-6.2 (EAC YT review) (Thomann listing). If
