Best sound system for an audio-technica AT-LP3 (under $500-$750)

Ordinarily, I’d recommend active speakers for anyone with your budget who plans on a digital source like a streaming service (Spotify, Tidal or Qobuz). But because you want your primary source to be an Audio Technical turntable, you will need a preamp with a phono stage as well as active speakers. I

Looking for subwoofer for Yamaha RX-496RDS

Obviously a second hand one. Decent new ones start at around 600€: SVS SB-1000 Pro or Kali Audio WS-6.2. If you back down on quality, then there are possibly cheaper new products too. Perhaps something like a Vanguard Caldera 10".

Front ported near field studio monitors with high vertical dispersion

With active studio monitors, I don’t think that you would need to limit yourself based on the location of the bass reflex port. Best Speakers for Mixing/Drum and Bass Advice

2 years late to the party but I got the Kali Audio LP6 V2's last weekend and they are fucking great for the price. I'm no sound expert but they just sound right and have very good bass for what they are. I liked them so much I decided to order the Kali WS 6.2 sub to take everything to the next level

Subwoofer rec for stereo speakers

Speakers from adam audio are generally considered to be 'bright' - they tend to have a lift in the highs that some people find tiresome. If thats your thing, go for it. Speakers from generally tends to sound dark - and the ones you mention are best suited for short listening distances - and even the

Advice for a potential speaker upgrade

These total about $950 (as I usually don’t recommend cheap subwoofers — someone else might): Kali Audio LP-UNF (EAC review) Kali Audio WS-6.2 (EAC YT review) (Something like a RSL Speedwoofer 10E would be a cheaper subwoofer. But it would work best if you have a subwoofer output in your PC.)
