Well I have the jbl 9.1 which is the older version I think and honestly I can’t really tell the atmos effect. The rears disconnect often and lately the battery life on them have been terrible so I don’t bother disconnecting them from the main soundbar anymore. That being said the bass is amazing.

I did own jbl bar 9.1 before upgrading to bar1300 mk1, never got any issues with rear speakers battery, they work 2 days or 3 days before attaching them back to the main bar at night or when am not using them for recharge. Keeping them on charger as its the one of options recommended by jbl .I think
