What are your thoughts on integrated USB outlets?
my JBL 9.1 soundbar uses usb to power the rear speakers, so rather have the integrated outlets there vs usb power brick plugged in. Nice to have the integrated outlets and don't mind that they're low powered.

Best home sound system?
I'm very happy with the JBL Bar 9.1 soundbar system with wireless sub and wireless rears. I'd buy another JBL Bar product if I needed one, like the Bar1000 or Bar700 with Multibeam 2.0 ATMOS.

Best home sound system?
I think OP want a simple and clean setup, So I’d go with a soundbar system over a full multi-room setup. Under the $1500 budget, the JBL Bar 9.1 is a really solid choice (I’m using it myself). It hits the balance of being wireless, easy to use day-to-day, and good for both TV and music. One big reas

Looks like Bose may have finally discontinued the surround speakers 700
Bose has much better clarity than JBL 9.1. actually, JBL 9.1 and the previous gen have not great clarity. The new mk2 JBL lineup is much better. You’re not better off getting Bose as JBL offers more especially now. JBL’s smart mode never bothered me on any of their units but this is personal prefere

DM13 Firmware Update Stuck - Bricked?
I came to say thank you for this. I was worried that I bricked my new DM13 BT after it was stuck in UPDATE, but I can safely power it on again with out of the box V25 firmware. I then found this post and successfully updated it to V27 after converting the USB drive to MBR using diskpart command via

No Dolby Atmos on Android Smart TV
Oh that's great then you would be set. I had this thought that it should support since the parent company which makes these soundbar is Harman which also makes jbl bars and those support it. I have jbl bar 9.1, with fire tv stick 4k max connected to it and it's connected to Samsung TV. So for dts tr

What are some examples of HDMI devices that the FireCube (3rd gen) can connect with?
I was unsuccessful in getting my Uverse box connected to HDMI input on the Fire Cube in combination with JBL 9.1 sound bar and LG C4. Almost got there but when Uverse worked Fire Cube apps wouldn't pass sound and vice versa. Believe it's due to Uverse not having CEC
