I had some Shape 65's for years and they were great to mix on, definitely needed a sub though. Upgraded to JBL 708p's.

Such is the challenge with modern gear, the endless improvement cycle has us paralyzed. If you're considering powered speakers, the JBL 708P was remarkable (but not wireless).
