Here is your annual (weekly? daily? hourly?) reminder that the Neumann KH120 and KH80 exist. The KH120 is ideal but out of your budget. JBL 308P MKII would be my budget choice for this. Powered speakers for keyboards, dual-purpose: practice space and very small venues
If you are serious that this is primarily for practice and/or smaller spaces, I would offer a different direction. Keyboards have the widest frequency range output of any instrument - so having solid support for the whole range is key. For what you are describing I would consider some larger powered

Garden party PA advice?
For so small of space, I would opt for powered studio monitors, like the JBL 308P. You can produce concert level sound from these. If you want great support for the low end, then add the sub they designed to work with these. That said, if you really intend for just background music, you really don't
