Roborock surprisingly didn’t do well in VacuumWars best vac/mop awards
In a more standardized test using lab-certified dust done by a German-based YouTube channel, Roborock's flagship has the weakest vacuuming power of embedded sand on carpet compared to Dreame, Roomba S9+, Dyson vis nav, and even Electrolux's first robot vacuum from the '90s. This is due to ineffectiv

Which robot vacuum works the best? Tired of vacuuming constantly.
Yeah, we went from a top-of-the-line-4-years-ago Roomba S9+ to a just-under-top-of-the-line Roborock 10r this winter. It is amazing how much better the 10r is! The only places the S9 did better are related to overly-broad patents iRobot still holds (being able to detect when a dust bin is full so it

I have a new pet named roobert. How do I make him happy/feel at home? He is comfortable enough to explore the house and he eats a lot of dirt. Though he doesn't do well with closed doors or the dark. Should I decorate his place? (Thing in the picture)
J9 is a beautiful roomba. One of my favorite resides My i3+ is still hanging in there. My mom’s s9+ is good too but she’s thinking about gifting it to me so I’m excited as it’s my favorite design and I believe it has the most power

Going from a J7+ to S9+
S9 is an amazing bot, and remarkably still very much undefeated for the most part when it comes to actual cleaning performance. And to my knowledge, it’s the only robot vacuum that use HEPA filtering. That being said, there are two major complaints about the bot - the first of which is navigation. I

How much should I invest in a decent roomba ?
I bought a Roomba S9+ back in 2020 and love that version due to the squared off front end which can get into corners better than the newer rounded ones. It’s been running strong for the past 5 years and only recently I ended up breaking part of the dock by trying to cheap out on the dust bags and br

S9+ tires that actually work?
Well, 2.5k views and no one had a suggestion that was available in the US. The great hive mind that is Reddit failed me and I want my money back. Anyhow I found tires that work seemingly as well as the OEM units. They are grey in color and not as slick as the black ones I tried previously. They have

I have said it before and I’ll say it again: the S9+ is the most beautiful robot vacuum ever made
yes - you're right. 100 percent. I only wish the new models that did have LIDAR were as handsome and elegant as the glorious S9+ ... I think of the S9+ like a a classic car - sure there are improvements from thost beauties from the 50's and 60's but those models are iconic for a reason. The S9+ will

Roomba Quality of Life
I still have my first of 6 roombas (Rudy, then came Judy, Booty, R2D2, Wall-e and Eve) ...it was purchased in 2008. Still running, but I updated batteries, bins, brushes etc. I tend to retire my older ones to other rooms in the house but all the old ones run great. It is worth the investment on a go
