Roomba maker iRobot files for bankruptcy, sells itself to Chinese company
I just moved from Roomba (i7+) to Roborock (Qrevo CurvX) a couple weeks ago and still have two i7+'s running (or trying to run) on the other levels of my home. In almost every way, the Roborock makes the Roomba feel like it's a hundred years old. In other ways, likely related to stupid patents, the

Robot vacuums for ADHD brains
I love it, I have a cat so litter goes everywhere and I don't have to personally vacuum it every single day. Maintenance is minimal and it tells me when it needs something. I have a Roomba i7, I think. I got the one that empties itself. I do keep my floors pretty tidy anyway because my cat loves to

Robot Vacuum Suggestions
so, i got the roomba i7+ a while back and honestly, it’s been a game changer. like, it really does a decent job with pet hair and all that. the self-emptying bin is super handy too, especially with my furry creatures around. but, tbh, it can get stuck on the weirdest things, like a stray sock or wha

Dog owners with carpets, seriously, What is the best robot vacuum for a home with shag or high-pile rugs?
got a roomba i7+ and honestly, it’s been pretty solid on my high-pile rugs. like, it actually manages to pull out a good amount of hair, especially with the self-emptying feature. super convenient, but the downside is it can get stuck sometimes, especially if there’s anything like a toy or a shoe in

At this point what is the best robot vacuum for a busy family that hates cleaning? Feels like an allergy survival question
so i got the roomba i7+ a while back and honestly, it’s been a game changer for me. like, the self-emptying thing is great, but you still get that dust cloud when it dumps, ugh. but the suction is solid and it navigates around furniture like a pro. it’s also got a pretty decent app for scheduling an

The new Winbot W3 Omni can wash its own pads
I think this may be similar to when the first Roombas came out that auto-emptied their own dust bins (Roomba i7+ and S9). I had Roombas and wondered why we needed that complicated/expensive feature, because it was pretty easy to empty the bin. However, once I got one it was awesome not to have to de

Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 one week review
Thanks! The robots help keep our house clean and we rarely need to do formal vacuuming. Re the sq ft unit setting, are you also in the US? Where do you find the unit setting? I also have a S8+, and the setting is called "unit' in "More Options", but the same setting does not exist for 10R in my app.

Vacuum
We have a Roomba i7+ that we bought during the pandemic. Paid extra for the self emptying base, and it's worth it imo. But honestly they've become so commoditized now that I'm sure there are many better alternatives that aren't as pricey. I hear good things about Roborock - this may be a good starti
