Run Time Test -- Flow 2 Vs. Flow 1

I do have an old Roomba j7+ on another floor that’s limping along. Maybe I’ll get the Flow 2 and run it on the problematic floor and replace the Roomba with the Flow 1 🤔

Roborock's no longer my go-to brand.

5 years? Wow! I understand you’re annoyed about parts being no longer available but my Roomba J7+ broke down after 1,5 years and my Neato D4 broke down after two years.

What’s the one thing you started doing in the last few years that quietly made your life 10× better, but nobody talks about?

I don’t feel super comfortable making a specific product recommendation; I think it’s too dependent on individual needs. What I will say: I had a Roomba Combo j7+ for a few years. The mop was terrible and very high-maintenance, so I only had it vacuum most of the time. I upgraded to a Dreame L50 Ult

Well, it finally happened in my house to my sweet little Robo vacuum🤢

I think I have done this twice or three times. I think it was nesto d7 and roomba j7+ that had one year guarantee it won't run into petshit, or something like that. Wasn't this bad tho, and one time was old dried out shit. I don't run my vacuums on schedule anymore, always quick visual inspection wi

Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum?

I have had several Roomba vacuums, and currently have a J7+ on main floor and an i4 in the basement. They really aren't great. Our J7 has been replaced by Roomba 2-3 times, which is great from a customer service aspect, but not great because it has needed to be replaced multiple times. In addition t

What Vacuum Cleaner do you recommend?

A robot vacuum that runs daily for keeping things in check. Not sure which to recommend anymore... I have a Roomba J7+, but personally I would not recommend Roomba as a brand anymore. Got the J7 because I loved my 980 and wanted an upgrade. Just have not been as happy with it. It works but have had

Roomba 705 Max NOT combo — Corner brush won't stay on

I just got off of the chat a couple of hours ago with iRobot Select. They sent me the J7+ side brush, which is my old Roomba. They told me they don’t have any 705 Max side brushes. They’re now sending me an entirely new 705 Max, including the dock. I find it extremely wasteful, and am hopeful they’l

J7 Charging Base

The contacts on the charging base are spring loaded. If a spring or a part that supports one of the contacts is not making contact firmly with the Robot's charging plate on the bottom of the robot, you will get an insufficient or no charge situation. I've got that problem with my J7+ clean base righ

Broken charger?

Have the same issue with my J7+. From videos I've seen it's not an easy part changeout. I've had my J7+ for 4 years, daily whole house cleanings. With the cost of an equivalent watt hour battery, iRobot repair of the clean base, the compatibility of filters and rollers between the J7 and J9, and the

Talk me out of buying the Roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop please!

DON'T - they're basically shit and terribly unreliable. I have literally kicked the shit out of my numerous times because it insists on following me around the house deliberately trying to crash into me at the most opportunistic times (fishy). It gets stuck everywhere, can't fucking dock itself prop
