Proton VPN is a good general, free VPN. zero issues. no ads or limits, confidential. it doesn't let you select a particular server, tho. just a few country options. I switched to this when IPvanish jacked up their prices.

There's definitely an NZ2, but I'm from the UK and watched it on BBC iPlayer. The VPN I use (IPVANISH) is paid for and costs about £35 ($44 ish I guess) for the year but you can alter locations. Do ISP's throttle just for using a VPN? My speed (wired) was 915mbs down and 895mbps up. With IPVanish on (split tunneling set up, WireGuard protocol selected, closest server selected) I am getting 166 down and 261 up. An 82% drop seems a bit drastic..

My short term solution is using ExpressVPN and connect to Singapore. ExpressVPN has no physical PH server. Instead, subscribe to hide.me or IPVanish since they have physical server in PH.
