This sounds about right to me. My Intel NUC8i7BEH just died after 7 years, I was pushing it hard on software transcodes in its last weeks. I’m curious about where Asus NUC falls

5 years later and this post saved me from a huge hassle. Disabling PCIe ASPM support in the bios of my Intel NUC8i7BEH solved the issue of the system freezing when either disconnecting the HDMI cable or just turning the monitor off. Nothing else seemed to work until this fix. Thank you u/tyanu_khah!

I like the port selection on it Agreed, no other Intel/Asus NUC Enthusiast matched the port selection. Plus it could unofficially support 6(or was it 8) display outputs at once, what a beast for its time
