Any news on the ace pro 3?

The biggest problem with it is... 60cm minimum focus distance. It's cooked. Which effectively rules it out for me as I can't film close up shots or do chest mounted fishing shots. Camera Minimum Focus Distance DJI Action 6 20-35cm Insta360 Ace Pro 2 37cm GoPro Hero 13 Black 44cm GoPro Mission 1 60cm

Which is better for tourism, compact camera or action cam?

I went to Batanes last month and only brought my insta360 Ace Pro 2 with me. It was okay naman, ang ganda ng output pero nakulangan ako sa zoom hehe. I guess you can just get a mirrorless camera with a pancake lens? Para may upgrade path ka rin sa future sa interchangeable lens

The leaked 1/1.28 inch sensor on the Go Ultra is a massive upgrade

And to make it more clear… a 1/1.28 would be the largest sensor in any mainstream action camera sold today… not just mini ones but all of them. It would be slightly larger than the sensor in the GoPro Hero 13, DJI Action 5 Pro and the Insta360 Ace Pro 2. The Go Ultra will likely be a true no comprom

Is Ace Pro 3 even launching?

It’s very likely the Ace Pro 3 launches in 2026, but with Insta360 heavily focused right now on Luna, their new Pocket 4 competitor that appears set for a late May or June release, I doubt we see the Ace Pro 3 before late summer or fall. As for what it’ll bring, 10-bit color is almost a lock given L

Recommendations

Okay 360 cams like the Insta360 X4 for example are fun and genuinely powerful especially for travel and creative shots but they’re not as effortless as YouTube makes them seem…having used one for a few years on and off. You’ll spend more time reframing and editing, which can get old if you’re just t

Insta360 ¿ace 3 pro?

I’m in a similar boat. Bought the X5 last summer and I’m loving it but I’m also realizing I need a non-360 camera (that’s not my phone) for certain shots. The Ace Pro 2 is aging gracefully but there’s definitely some comparison videos with the Action 6 that show it falling behind. 10 bit color, vari

Is Ace Pro 3 even launching?

Fair point that DJI hasn't announced an Action 7 yet, but the Ace Pro 2 is already starting to feel dated against the current Action 6 and GoPro Mission 1. It's been almost a year and a half since the Ace Pro 2 launched, and it's still 8-bit, no 8K60, no open gate, no proper/accurate log profile, an

Osmo Action 6 vs. Insta360 Ace Pro 2

I recently did a side-by-side test comparing my old Hero12 with the AcePro 2 and the Osmo Action 6. AcePro has the worst image quality in changing lighting conditions(think biking through a forest with shadows/highlights changing). Also the 4:3 sensor isn‘t as versatile when you want to crop to diff

lowkey hope they never release the Ace Pro 3

Insta360 have to meet some spec to be able to put the leica logo on. The hardware i believe to be better than phone. But phone software are wayyyyy better. So, if you want a good photo from ace pro 2. Shoot raw and then post process.
