PSA: Insta360 Ace Pro 2 “lens protector” issue makes the dive case useless (unless you buy another part)
Look at the last image For people downvoting me to oblivion The lens protector itself is what makes the camera water proof up to 10m. If I remove that, it is no longer water proof. I'm imagining a scenario where i have the dive case on without the lens protector and I've to handle the camera on a bo

68*F year round JB
I’m going to guess an insta360 ace pro 2. (The video has a watermark.) Edit to say, it is beautiful footage. Now im considering one.

Did the Ace Pro 2 get a redesign? Or is it just the lens cover?
Hi there! We're rolling out an updated version of the Ace Pro 2 featuring a redesigned lens guard. Product functionality remains the same. No action is needed if you already own an Ace Pro 2. It continues to work great and you're still backed by full support and the Insta360 promise.

Is Ace Pro 3 even launching?
I was in the same position waiting for the Ace Pro 3 to release but obviously Insta360s efforts are focused on the Luna launch which is pretty big for them considering this is not only their first pocket gimbal camera but also DJI being blocked in the U.S. means they have an open market to fill and

Do any of you take cameras with you running? If so, which one?!
Get an Insta360 Ace Pro 2 with the xplorer grip. It’s water resistant up to 30m, has good battery life and takes 48mp Raw photos. The video is not great (IMO YMMV). But the photos I have taken with that little thing were so fun, and the lens cover is replaceable so if you drop it it’s not a big deal

And this is how we lost our X4
The go 3 is nice but if your plan is to frequently shoot fully-submerged footage, the action cams like GoPro hero, insta360 ace pro, or dji osmo are best, they’re all more rugged and purpose-built for that kind of shooting.Don’t get me wrong, you could certainly shoot underwater with your go 3s but

I have the Ace Pro 2... Considering using under water for the first time.
Wow. Really kind of goes to show just how good the Ace Pro 2 really is? That is pretty phenomenal that it's rated to 12 meters. But remember that IP ratings are done with fresh water. That is why I thought I should check. But it seems that Insta360 have showed the camera underwater, in sea water wit

Any news on the ace pro 3?
I’ve got a Mission 1 Pro on preorder but I would cancel that order so fast if Insta360 announced the Ace Pro 3 with the same 1” sensor from the Luna. I’m really surprised there’s not even any major rumors about the Ace Pro 3 even after being on the market for a year and a half now. Action 6 came out

which camera to buy for vlogging in 2026?
I use the insta360 ace pro 2 for my outdoorsy videos. Rugged, waterproof, great at video and picture. It has a flip up screen so you can see what you’re recording, great colors out of camera and mic is decent. If you get the kit with the explorer grip and extra battery, you’re pretty set

lowkey hope they never release the Ace Pro 3
Insta360 have to meet some spec to be able to put the leica logo on. The hardware i believe to be better than phone. But phone software are wayyyyy better. So, if you want a good photo from ace pro 2. Shoot raw and then post process.
