Company has mandated 2 days WFH from next week. Help me set up!
I personally think standing desks are redundant unless you are constantly on video calls, you can just stand and work at your usual desk and see if that's comfortable. At least a 24 inch FHD external monitor is a must, you can adjust the size and resolution based on your use case. If you don't care

Where to go to get a good office chair?
Yeah the Ikea Markus is decent for the price. I got mine back in 2020. You should be able to try Herman Miller chairs at Living Edge and see if you can find a second hand one from FB Marketplace or somewhere

How much would you spend on a chair for your WFH setup?
If you are going for an Aeron, you really need to try before you buy. They come in different sizes based on size and weight. But the issue is in my experience seat pan isn’t adjustable so you need to make your legs are properly supported. Steelcase Leap V2 are also decent. You see them pop up the od

Seriously will someone suggest a brand that doesn't suck
An ikea markus has better reclining mechanism and ergonomy, than most gaming chairs at 2x-3x price. You just have to look for something better, and not get stuck at "but gaming chairs are cheaper than herman miller"

Desk chairs
If you sit for long periods and have back pain, try investing in a good chair. A “cheap” chair for €100 isn’t going to solve the problem. If you’re on a tight budget, I would probably recommend the MARKUS chair from IKEA.

Gaming chair got broken
Personally I'd recommend the Markus from Ikea. It's about as good a chair you can find without going into the €400+ office chair segment.

Vana kontoritool on otsi andmas, oleks vist aeg uus soetada. Oleksin tänulik kui oskate soovitada mõnda budget friendly kontoritooli.
IKEA Markus - 150€ vms? Best bang for buck tool, kunagi tegin researchi ja kuskil oli see valitud isegi kolmandale kohale best chairs vms listis(esimesed 2 olid herman millerid), siiani kõik semud kes proovinud on, ei ole kahetsenud.

do you have office chair recommendations for a full time wfh student?
The Ikea Markus is absolutely fantastic and comes with a 10yr warranty. Don't be fooled by expensive gaming chairs. https://www.ikea.com/ie/en/p/markus-office-chair-vissle-dark-grey-30261152/

Turn naked recliner into functioning chair for cheap?
Theres 12 in stock at my local store in Las Vegas according to the website, but I doubt that helps. It seems it is limited to in store purchases. The as-is section is my first stop at every IKEA visit, generally near the check-out area. Many of my long time items were obtained there including my Mar
