Company has mandated 2 days WFH from next week. Help me set up!
I personally think standing desks are redundant unless you are constantly on video calls, you can just stand and work at your usual desk and see if that's comfortable. At least a 24 inch FHD external monitor is a must, you can adjust the size and resolution based on your use case. If you don't care

What office chair to help with prostatitis?
I have a contessa chair with a mesh and it really helped a lot. Before that I was using an ikea markus chair that was still very comfortable, but was still putting a lot of pressure especially if you sit upright. Noticed a huge improvement right away, but still most important thing is to remember to

Simracing position / lower back pain
I have this exact setup but with an IKEA Markus office chair. No back pain but sometimes some hip pain if I do an endurance race. I feel it’s unavoidable in most setups like this. My chair base sits way more flat and no sloped back like yours then the back is basically straight up and down vs yours

Company has mandated 2 days WFH from next week. Help me set up!
I can recommend the Jin Office monitor stand with laptop holder. It's easy to install and sturdy; I'm using it for three years with no complaints. I also use IKEA's sitting+standing desk (TROTTEN), which costs less than Rs. 20K. However, it comes with a manual lever to increase or decrease the heigh

Chair Recommendations, Markus and Hator
My last 2 chairs were Ikea Markus and its honestly not bad. I just have nothing to compare it to, because i currently still sitting in my 2nd Markus. I think i had both of them for like 5-8 years. You mention that you are on the heavier side so you should consider its only for people up to 110 kg. T

Thoughts on this Chinese chair?
I tried this Ikea chair ($500) today. It also has the synchron mechanism and equally doesn't feature stiffness adjustment. The reclining felt a little too "binary" and less smooth compared to my Chinese. Then I tried the Markus and the seat+back stiffness is perfect, I don't mind the fixed armrests.

Seriously will someone suggest a brand that doesn't suck
Ikea Markus with a memory foam pillow for your bottom (the base is kinda hard imo). The most durable chair I ever owned. I hope I don't jinx it lol

It seems my chair-hunting adventure has come to an end, and the winner is…
I had this exact chair. The seat is terrible. I never knew a seat could be that uncomfortably firm. I did lots of research. Watched videos and read reviews that praised this chair as the best $300 chair that felt like a $500 chair. BTOD listed it at the top of the B-Tier, above many other very expen

C7Max vs Sihoo M18 vs IKEA Markus vs Colamy Atlas
i'm your height and went through a similar chair search last year. The IKEA Markus has better headrest support for our height than the Sihoo M18, which tends to hit mid-back on taller users. For your budget, i'd also look at the Ticova Ergonomic Chair which has adjustable armrests that go higher tha
