How much would you spend on a chair for your WFH setup?
If you are going for an Aeron, you really need to try before you buy. They come in different sizes based on size and weight. But the issue is in my experience seat pan isn’t adjustable so you need to make your legs are properly supported. Steelcase Leap V2 are also decent. You see them pop up the od

What computer chair would you recommend and from where in Adelaide?
Cloth and mesh are your friends. Fuck the pleather shit! Edit: my current chair is a 10y old Markus form IKEA. I bought a new one recently as the old one is kinda dirty looking now but it still functions! New one was nearly $100 cheaper than the original purchase.

Turn naked recliner into functioning chair for cheap?
Theres 12 in stock at my local store in Las Vegas according to the website, but I doubt that helps. It seems it is limited to in store purchases. The as-is section is my first stop at every IKEA visit, generally near the check-out area. Many of my long time items were obtained there including my Mar

Buying study table & chair
I don't know what you consider affordable but the ikea markus chair i have served me well for over 7 years, and once it developed a problem it was still under warranty which ikea honoured no questions asked. 199€ brand new.

chair suggestions
I don't have any major issues like you cited, but I do have a bad back and really need a very supportive chair because I sit 8+ hours a day for work. For years I've used the IKEA Markus chair (I've worn out two of them and on my 3rd). If you have an IKEA nearby probably worth checking one out. Very

Seriously will someone suggest a brand that doesn't suck
Yes! I used to have a terrible dxracer chair that cost me about 400€ and was completely broken after 3 years. I bought a Markus (150€ iirc) after that and that chair worked well for about 12 years before it broke. Now I have a slightly more expensive Ikea chair (can't remember the name) and it's pre

Finding ergonomic / gaming chairs for 6ft+ tall people
Try out an IKEA Markus - I’m 6’4” and it’s perfect for me, going on 10 years with mine. Much cheaper than a lot of the other branded chairs too

Office chair recommendations
Ikea markus. I worked 12 hour shifts on those chairs and they hold up. Been using them for as long as I’ve been working (13 years now).
