Best Chair For Reading From Home!

IKEA Markus has been my chair for the last 10 years. Still great and costs 25% of the Aeron chair.

How much would you spend on a chair for your WFH setup?

If you are going for an Aeron, you really need to try before you buy. They come in different sizes based on size and weight. But the issue is in my experience seat pan isn’t adjustable so you need to make your legs are properly supported. Steelcase Leap V2 are also decent. You see them pop up the od

What's a good chair for 200-300 range price?

I bought twice of these office chair trying to "save" but ended up costing me more as they break easily and not good quality.. Went ahead and bought 1 from Ikea and it survived from covid until now. Search for Ikea Markus not the best but the quality is top for its price

What computer chair would you recommend and from where in Adelaide?

Cloth and mesh are your friends. Fuck the pleather shit! Edit: my current chair is a 10y old Markus form IKEA. I bought a new one recently as the old one is kinda dirty looking now but it still functions! New one was nearly $100 cheaper than the original purchase.

Turn naked recliner into functioning chair for cheap?

Theres 12 in stock at my local store in Las Vegas according to the website, but I doubt that helps. It seems it is limited to in store purchases. The as-is section is my first stop at every IKEA visit, generally near the check-out area. Many of my long time items were obtained there including my Mar

Some lighthearted news despite the occuring events in the country

I know people liked to clown IKEA and whatnot but I will forever stan them just because the MARKUS office chair that I still have after all 6 years is still on point and has got to be the most comfortable working and gaming chair I’ve ever had.

chair suggestions

I don't have any major issues like you cited, but I do have a bad back and really need a very supportive chair because I sit 8+ hours a day for work. For years I've used the IKEA Markus chair (I've worn out two of them and on my 3rd). If you have an IKEA nearby probably worth checking one out. Very

Buying study table & chair

I don't know what you consider affordable but the ikea markus chair i have served me well for over 7 years, and once it developed a problem it was still under warranty which ikea honoured no questions asked. 199€ brand new.

Half the internet is people recommending things they've never owned

Yes. This. And I have sat in and used most of the $1,000-$2,000 chairs reddit swears by. They are uncomfortable as FUQ! and break all of the time as well. I would pick an Ikea Markus over all of them ALL day long.
