Did I score a deal on this?

It’s real, etc. Humanscale has very particular opinions about how an ergonomic chair should work. I think they’re in the love ‘em or hate ‘em category, and I haven’t fallen in love with them, but there’s no universe in which you could ever consider $40 for a Liberty “getting ripped off.” If it is at

Where do you get home office furniture from?

I bought a refurbished Humanscale Liberty Task chair for £180 back in 2020. I really rate it! Can see they go on eBay for pretty similar prices still.

Any ideas on this chair?

It's very likely Humanscale Diffrient, with a small chance it's some clone. Should be a very comfy chair with Humanscale's particularly limited adjustments (they have a philosophy to build chairs that adjust to most just by their design, but I've seen low to no complaints of bad fitting, so they may

What do you think of the Liberty HumanScale?

I went through a phase of obsessing over fancy office chairs, and with much effort I managed to find a few going on the cheap. I like the humanscale liberty a lot. At first sight it feels a bit basic the way you can hardly customize it, but it ends up really working really well, and it's the one I k

I love my Humanscale Liberty, but am I the only one that feels like it forces a ridiculously forward posture.

I got the Humanscale Liberty and I'm so happy I did, it's honestly perfect for me This spot was odd because it was mostly used home furniture for bedrooms and living rooms, but there were a small handful of cheaper office chairs and then randomly the Humanscale Liberty for $150, practically new! I'm

HumanScale

If it’s in good condition (check the back plastic and that all the adjustments are working) they’re great chairs. The model is Humanscale liberty and usually run $2-300 used and $1500 new

Why is finding the right chair so complicated?

What worked for me was going to a physical store that sells both used and new office furniture, and trying out as many chairs as I could. And listen to your body more than to reviews/specs. I had initially gone down the online research rabbit hole, but what ultimately worked was physically sitting i
