Wireless HORIPAD for Steam

I have a stream deck and man, the controls on this thing really spoiled me. I got into gyro gaming and also use the trackpads and back buttons all of the time. The versatility is just on a whole new level and there's no comparable controller out there (so far). I also tried the Horipad for Steam Con

I tried my Switch 1 Joy-Cons on Remnant 2 via Steam and i couldn't play at all. I did replace the Joy-Con sticks with hall effect ones from gullikit because the og ones started drifting on both Joy-Con pairs i have. Latency was horrible, dead zones were horrible and overall the ergonomics of the Joy

Steam Deck has an official dock, as well as third party docks. You can buy either. I have a third party one. Normally, Steam Deck is not really meant to be played docked. It does work, again, it is a PC, so it won't stop you, but Steam Deck is not really powerful enough to play at higher resolution

The best controller is the steam horipad! Made specifically for the steam deck and has a dedicated steam button as well. And any 3rd party dock with hdmi 2.1 output will work (as cheap as $30 on amazon).

The only "solution" I've found is to buy the horipad for steam. When you turn it on, the steam deck picks it up and auto switches even for the emulators. Never have found a way around controller order though sorry.

Imo you might want at least one horipad for steam. This controller has a dedicated steam button and the steam deck recognizes it as player one without switching controller order.
