which are the best steam controllers out of these 3? steam controller 1 horipad for steam or steam controller 2

I have a stream deck and man, the controls on this thing really spoiled me. I got into gyro gaming and also use the trackpads and back buttons all of the time. The versatility is just on a whole new level and there's no comparable controller out there (so far). I also tried the Horipad for Steam Con

Pretty cool stuff ngl

It's the red-headed stepchild of Hori and Valve, the horipad. You can see the newer one on the top left lol.

"3" Steam Controller on my hands

Because they're an established peripheral manufacturer and they're who signed up, I guess. Hori puts out some cool stuff but the horipad is trash on every console. Hopefully we get more licensed steam controllers (with touchpads!?)

The Steam Deck's capacitive sticks and touchpads are perfect for Groove Coaster

Groove Coaster is originally an arcade rhythm game by Taito. The controls consist of a pair of boosters, which are basically giant analog sticks with a button on top of each. You tap the buttons and move the boosters to the rhythm. This control scheme translates perfectly to the capacitive thumbstic

PS5 Gyro frustration

I tried my Switch 1 Joy-Cons on Remnant 2 via Steam and i couldn't play at all. I did replace the Joy-Con sticks with hall effect ones from gullikit because the og ones started drifting on both Joy-Con pairs i have. Latency was horrible, dead zones were horrible and overall the ergonomics of the Joy

Looking for advice please

Steam Deck has an official dock, as well as third party docks. You can buy either. I have a third party one. Normally, Steam Deck is not really meant to be played docked. It does work, again, it is a PC, so it won't stop you, but Steam Deck is not really powerful enough to play at higher resolution

Alpakka a Gyro Endgame? Yes, but...

Of course I do know H2, I just been using mode shift so when I hold L1, face buttons change into dpad, so i can freely run and spring and if I want to dive I use backpaddle for it. Never found need to reload or use co sole while holding strategem ball 😅 Yeah, Gyro activation is tricky. Personally, I

I don't want to play with you anymore

This Horipad is not any different from the other Hori ones. It just has the Steam logo slapped on it and it's called "Steam controller" with the quotation marks. I always found Hori controllers to be cheap Nintendo Switch accessories outside of their arcade controllers.

Looking for Recommendations for a SNES USB Wired Controller to play with an Emulator

I would highly recommend getting a Horipad. They're just a really solid, good quality controller all around for the cost; I've dropped mine dozens of times with seemingly no consequences, and played tons of mash heavy games without any face button fatigue to speak of. My first one lasted me 3 or 4 y

Considering getting a controller to use with Steam games. What are the pros and cons of the various types?

I've got the hori steam controller. Think it's called the HORIpad. I love it, it has all the steam buttons on there & it has the familiar Xbox layout I like.
