Looking for arcade stick recommendations

There are some budget arcade sticks I'm aware of: Hori fighting stick mini, Mayflash F500, 8bitdo arcade stick. I'm not sure how easy they are to mod but they should be decent for under $100. You can try it out and see if you like it. I love them for shmups and fighting games. Definitely check out s

Fraudulent Friday ShittyGaming Lounge

TBH the main thing is that swapping Fighting Game controllers will always make it feel like you've forgotten literally everything at first, i've gone from pad to stick to hitbox to pad over the time i've been into fighting games, and that process of feeling like nothing carried over at first happene

How did leverless become so popular with Street Fighter 6?

Also adding on to this, because it matches my experience: there's a lot more leverless options in the budget and midrange price brackets. Outside the hori mini, getting a stick is really expensive, but you have tons of options for leverless.

VD6 (or rather VD bases in General) work on PS5 (and 4)

Hi everyone, I can confirm the hori mini pad is a great option (Found on ebay). Except for the handbrake everything works with no disconnection issue (multiple 1h+ sessions).Vd4 + hori ps4 in extra port (with USB-a to usb-c) + Pxn sf sh (in seq and in h mode) + ps5 + gran turismo = okkkkk (ffb, shif

First leverless, first time putting on custom art

The F500 feels nice! I come from a really small Hori stick mini so the difference is like day and night. The buttons are really responsive and it shouldn't be too difficult to change these for some better sanwa ones (as long as you're strong enough to take the connectors out!)

Lever or Leverless controller?

Building on this, you can get a cheap haute 42 leverless or hori mini arcade stick for relatively cheap to try them out. It is really what you find fun though, even at the highest level the difference is smaller than the benefit of comfort level

Is it possible to reduce this fightstick's noises ? (Pic down below)

I have two of these devices and have opened them up and unfortunately the buttons are membrane switches. Imagine them as giant game pad buttons which is making contact to the board. Since these are not your normal arcade buttons the only way to make it quieter with the design intact it will need som

Arcade Game Night :-)

It’s the official licensed Xbox stick, made by 8bitdo. It’s similar to their Nintendo Switch version. HORI Fighting Stick Mini looks like your best bet for PS5. To make this PS5 compatible, I’d have to buy a “Brook Adapter” which is another $80. Not sure why everyone is going with different protocol
