tbh for lower back pain and your budget, i'd def check fb marketplace or offerup for a used herman miller aeron or steelcase leap. you can usually find them for around $200-300 and they're wayy better quality than most new chairs in that range, plus they're built to last yk. for something new, the h

I have the Hon Ignition 2.0. It’s not cute but not hideous either. It’s Wirecutter’s budget pick (like $450 so not cheap, but way less then an Herman Miller). This is my first nice ergonomic chair and my back is loving it. Even my cat prefers it to other chairs in my house, and she’s a fancy bitch (

You dont have to go full Herman Miler to get a good chair. Steelcase series 1/2, HON Ignition 2.0, and branch Ergonomic are the usual 'Best value" solid build, real adjustability and way cheaper while still feeling premium enough for long desk time.

I have a HON ignition at the office. I like it. I’m trying to decide if I want to buy it for home where I work more days and spend longer days in the chair. It’s great chair but I can’t say I’ve compared it to anything else.

Hon is pretty good. They have options at most price points. I have the Ignition 2.0 and it’s around your price point. I’ve been mostly happy with it. It’s no Steelcase or Herman-Miller, but it does the job well for the price.

Maybe a bit more cushion - I'm thinking Obusforme Comfort, Steelcase Amia, or Hon Ignition. I've heard the Leap has a bit of flex in the seat. Our favourite refurbishers that y

I’m around 310lbs and grabbed a used HON Ignition for $220, thick seat, metal base, no creaks after a year, not fancy but solid daily use for long coding sessions and weekend gaming at home.

It’s the HON ignition 2.0 https://a.co/d/dBoqkeE Thankfully my job supplied it for me. Pretty hefty price tag of ~$500

Check out the HON Ignition 2.0 currently $300 at Amazon. Check out the reviews at Wirecutter here. I bought it was $200 on Amazon and its absolutely a great and durable chair, especially if you regularly check and retighten screws with thread locker. I'm on the heavier side and this is a "buy it for

Assuming he’s rejected the Aeron, Mirra, Celle, Cosm and Embody, as well as the Steelcase Leap (which I think is a very office looking chair that you can order bulk from Crandall or BTOD) Gesture and Amia, other visually distinct options are the AllSteel Acuity or task 19 (task 19 is only going to b
