Framework keyboard | FIXED

Try the HHKB Studio. Or one of the TEX boards. Edit: I love getting downvotes for suggesting reasonable (and significant improvements) replacements for Lenovo’s old offerings. Is it a price issue? Good keyboards cost money.

First time buyer (Pro Hybrid Type-S vs Studio)

There's no objectively correct answer here, but chances are that you became interested in the HHKB because of Topre. If you're primarily after the layout, there are cheaper ways to try it out. That said, I also picked up the Studio (after a Pro 2 and a Hybrid), and I love it.

Should I collect the HHKB Studio too?

Own all hhkb. Typing on the studio feels less fatiguing than topre. More silenced. Also have the new sliders and mouse, but I've rarely used those. If you have the means then there's no harm in collecting all three. The studio still feels a hop in quality and coherence than any of the custom hhkbs I

Is there a perfect HHKB?

The Topre HHKB Studio is the real endgame, lol. I felt the same at first, but once you give it enough time, it just clicks. No surprise it’s the endgame for a lot of MX users. Enjoy typing haha

Plz HHKB STUDIO TOPRE ver

Is anyone else waiting like me? I think most/everyone here would love to see it, but the reality is that we probably won't. A Topre version would be dependent on Topre to develop (this is probably one of the main reasons why it is MX; besides trying to tap into the MX market, it is something PFU cou

First time buyer (Pro Hybrid Type-S vs Studio)

I have both, and to be honest, I don’t use the gesture panels on the Studio very much. If I had to recommend one for now, I’d say go with the Hybrid Type-S. The Hybrid Type-S uses Topre, which are super comfortable for long typing sessions. It’s also a great way to get used to the HHKB layout. On to

Studio thoughts from a Topre diehard - it's amazing

I've never had experience with Topre, but I have an obsession with keyboards that have a trackpoint and integrated mouse buttons (I wish TEX still sold the Yoda II, as I LOVE my Shura DIY), so I took a chance on the Studio... and man, am I glad I did. The layout took some getting used to, this being

This keyboard I designed and assembled

I did think about designing it with the possibilities of a split spacebar, which I think is right up your alley! Splitting it up into 3 different keys is pretty common. The HHKB studio I'm pretty sure also has 3 additional buttons below the spacebar, so a combination of these two would be crazy for

does such a thing as mx internals for an hhkb case?

Just get an HHKB studio, it's basically an HHKB but with hotswap MX switches and a trackpoint.
