Replacing an S4U 16K with better option
Nothing wrong with Heygears because they work as well as they tell you they do. Some of their parts cost a little more but I actually spend less over time because their screens and film last 3-4x longer than elegoo. They're not as closed as some people seem to think and the RS line will be opening u

Looking to replace my current printers. Need input from professionals
+1 for heygears. The Reflex RS Turbo is the best hobby printer on the market right now imo. With the slicer and settings opening up next quarter there’s no downside. Plus I’ve run a bunch of non-heygears resin using the built in presets and I’ve never had a failure yet

Is the HeyGears RS worth the price difference over the Saturn 4 ultra 16k
I’ve got all 3, the Saturn 4 Ultra is kinda wonky because of the tilt vat, especially if you’re using flexy resins. The 3 Ultra is a workhorse, and the Heygears is pretty awesome. I use the PAF10 resin, it’s like 37 a kilo and the refill system works nicely. I don’t use the heated vat since I’m in a

Best resin printer for minis and dummies
The Mars 5 will be fine. You'll eventually get a failure and have to learn to deal with it. However, you should be able to reasonably take it out of the box, put resin in it, hit print, and get a mini. Just make sure you don't cheap out on resin. Also take all safety precautions including ventilatio

Printer advice
Anycubic is a non-starter imho. Poor support, poor QC (and the bar is low as is), and no per layer wait times. Elegoo is the best of the budget tier. The Saturn 3 non-Ultra is probably the best bang for your buck printer available right now, if it’s available in your region. At the high end sits the

Resin priner recommendations for prototyping
Yeah honestly imo even the RS is quite a bit better than any Elegoo printer anyways, so it's the best bang for your buck and then eventually when profile editing is a thing, you'll probably be able to tune engineering resins to it anyways, whether you want to use them or not. As for normal resins, I

Resin priner recommendations for prototyping
Their lineup and naming is confusing. The Turbo is just a screen upgrade for the Reflex and Reflex RS that controls light bleed better and speeds up the printing. Think of it as just an add on for them. (but a necessary one) As for the printers, Reflex RS is for miniatures and more basic resins. The

production printer recommendations pleasee
Heygears. Yes it’s a closed platform currently but that means they can support you 100% since they know their machines and resin inside out. It’s not hobbyist grade stuff. I’m using the Reflex RS (non turbo) and their PVC-like resin PAF10. Durable and details together.

Printer recommendations
First time printer resin printer owner: I went with the Reflex RS (the non-turbo, which is the same aside from the screen) and I had a succesfull print right away. I wanted a printer that didn't require much setup and tuning and the RS delivered. The print quality is also great. I mainly print displ

What printers are everyone using?
Like most things I spend a few months going back and forth before making a decision. I looked at them after seeing Fauxhammers videos on YouTube. That was back when they released the original Reflex. What made me not buy it was the cost and given that I didn’t do much or enjoy resin printing with th
