yeah, dualsense dpad is nothing to write home about. TT Pro/Max though have best dpad I ever tried (and it has 2 shapes included). you might need to get used to it at first, but it's worth it. Best dpad/all-purpose controller ?
3 controllers that have been great for Celeste specifically are ps4, PS5, and gulikit tt pro Ps4 I used for pretty much everything until I got a PS5 controller, and then I started using ps4 for only digital control games (Celeste and Spelunky mainly). Good for all around but will get drift PS5 d pad
