WIN 5

8 inch display, I would totally get this over GPD Win5, but gonna be crazy expensive in the states

I have a 6 month old - because my free time is so limited and sporadic, it feels too much of an effort to go into another room and load up my pc. It never gets used and I’m on the GPD regularly. I’m not into the Win5 so will stick to my Win4 but if people have a use case for it, crack on!

Many U5 games run poorly on every single handheld, even the new ones that cost a fortune. It depends on the game, but many of them are unoptimized garbage that struggle even on a 4060, which is about the max performance you can get out of a handheld (gpd Win5 for $1800).

By the logic of this pic, my Casio solar-powered pocket calculator is infinitely better performing than the GPD Win5, and a fraction of the Win 5's size. See how silly this comparison is, @kendyzhu?

Gpd win5 but its also crazy expensive and you have to carry around external batteries because it doesn't have one built it lol. Ive also seen several posts of people having quality control issues with it too . Go figure lol.

I mean, if it's a GPD Win6 I don't really care so long as it's the same general size as the Win4 with an internal battery and a keyboard. I just don't want a Win5. I want to put it in my purse and I don't want to carry a 2005-sized tote bag.

I guess one of drawbacks to buying from smaller companies, I'd be scared witless if I bought a onexplayer Apex or the gpd win5 and they tell me they don't have the parts if something breaks.... at that money. Nah!

OP you're not alone. It's anyone playing on a handheld PC. Was working perfectly fine and now it doesn't work at all. I actually have a rog ally x and a gpd win5 and neither are working. I put in a ticket / bug report but nothing has changed. It works when I go on a desktop rig. Wish we got an actua
