Is $699 a fair price for this miniPC? Based on the Specs (i3-N300, 16GB LPDDR4, 4x NVMe Bays, 2.5GbE Port)

$699 i3-300 🤣 You can do much, much better in the $700 range. Look at just about anything in the GMKTec K line, for starters. Picking one at basically random, the NUCBox K12 Ryzen 7 H 255 with 32GB RAM/1TB SSD, Oculink and dual 2.5Gb NIC is currently $649. That will absolutely smoke an i3-300 perfor

Best Gaming Mini-PC for $500-$600?

I think the GMKtec K12 is probs good value at $500 (Ryzen 7 8745HS CPU, Radeon 780M iGPU - 32gb RAM, 500GB SSD) vs competitors who have soldered ram and less expandability. The K12 has three SSD slots and you can replace the RAM. Plus it has an OCulink port so you can plug a dedicated GPU to max gam

Gmktec k8 plus or k12

The third M.2 slot on the K12 is awkwardly placed, there's a capacitor right underneath it so you don't really have space to put a heat sink on your NVME in that slot if that's a thing you're wanting to do. K12 is also down to a single USB4 port vs the two on the K8+ for whatever reason. I went with

GMKtech K12 - some info that might be helpful

The least you could have done is benchmarking your NVME M2 SSD, things like "i don t trust this , i don t feel like" are not Tech argument. Same goes with the RAM, you could have benchmark its performances and then draw some conclusion.btw TSMC is the best processor manufacturer period, i didn t kno

GMKtec Gaming Mini PC AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS (Turbo 5.1GHz) 32GB DDR5 2TB SSD, Computers PC Oculink, Dual NIC LAN 2.5G, WiFi 6, USB3.2, USB-C 4.0, BT5.2, DP, HDMI, Dual Fan Nucbox K11

Yes but what's your use case? If will use with egpu thru oculink, and dont really need ryzen 9 power, can go with GMKtec K12 instead as it has the oculink port at the back.

Kid’s First PC, Linux Mint & Minecraft, Suggestions?

With the way prices are right now, if you don't already have some laptop RAM sticks laying around to drop into a barebones unit, AOOSTAR's MACO 6850H is pretty enticing as a budget option with a solid iGPU. Available for US 300 ish on their website with no SSD installed but the 24GB RAM is soldered

Any experiences on Linux compatibility for GMKtec NucBox K12 AMD Ryzen™ 7 H 255 Mini PC ?

I got my K12 and am using it for over 2 weeks now, I must say its quite good and no issues whatsoever, I installed Linux Ubuntu latest version on it directly and everything running smoothly without any issues, I got mine barebone, got my own RAM 48GB and 4TB. The CPU Ryzen 7 H 255 works great and qu

Budget (<$600) OCuLink or Thunderbolt 5 laptop/handheld to pair with (7900 XTX eGPU)

Check out the GMktec K8 or K11/K12 the K8 with 32gb ram is like $500 on amazon and basically has the same processor as the ROG Ally, it will play a lot of games just with the internal APU. I was able to get close to 60FPS on Call of Duty with it. It has an Oculink port right on the front panel as we

Good mini pc (sold on amazon) that allows for a modern dedicated graphics card to be installed?

I'm running a gmktec k12, it has a dedicated oculink port for external gpu setup. I tested with my old gtx1060 and it works fine, no troublesome setup. Buy egpu dock + psu, 650w is generally fine unless you're using 3090, 4080, 4090, etc. since 650w psu won't have enough power cables. Install nvidia

I'm disappointed with some high-end Mini PCs

Get a GMKTEC k12 zero Bluetooth or WiFi issues it's a little power house built tough out of metal.
