I want to replace my current PC with mini PC + Oculink dock - does it make any sense in my usecase?

To answer your questions. I have a GMKtec K8 Plus and possibly plan for a RX 9060 XT 16GB. I've read where people are happy with the 9070 and OCuLink. Considering the Aoostar AG01 with its integrated 800W power supply for a smaller footprint with better cable management. If anything OCuLink is the b

What is best mini PC for gaming w/eGPU support

The EVO-X1 doesn't advertise the 8000MT/s "gimmick", although u/RobloxFanEdit provide evidence & use experience on his GhostKeyboard Review channel The GEM10 370 / GT37 is no more than a EVO-X1 clone in a Gzosmeta custom case. As for LPDDR5x vs DDR5 SODIMM found in the X1 Pro, when ServeTheHome comp

What are the best value mini PCs at various price points?

I looked into the HX 370 minis and found the GMKtec EVO-X1 to be more popular and the best value. Has more features and was easier to service than the SER9 design.

Geelong A9 max v Ser 9 Pro

Guess it depends on the purpose. Neither are as popular as the GMKtec EVO-X1 which focuses on expansion and being serviceable. Much easier to add a second NVMe. The 5600MHz SODIMM has the advantage of being upgradable but the disadvantages of higher power use and heat, only being 128-bit data throug

What’s the best Mini PC that can emulate up to PS3?

I have a GMKtec EVO-X1 set up that will do what you're asking, within the known limitations of PS3 and XBOX 360 emulation on Windows. It will run those later gen systems rather well, assuming general emu compatibility, etc. It's on sale at Amazon right now for ~$900 USD, just under your limit. It wi

Advice for persons who want to buy Mini Pc

The GMKtec Evo-x1 is really good, too. I use it a lot for bith productivity and gaming and it shreds both... also very easy to modify, if anyone has seen my post on here about it, hehe...

Buying help

Tarkov is a bit of a demanding game, but it would be possible to play it on high settings on a mini-PC as long as you get the right one. Long story short, here is what I recommend:GMKtec EVO-X2 $1600 USDhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F53QXNGH?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_1FMCJ2FQBXR27ZQ63BP2That recommendation is h

Mini PC Recommendation

If you do go with the GMKtec EVO-X1 with the Radeon 890M, you could always get an external GPU Oculink and keep using your RX 9070 XT when you need the extra horse power. This would keep you well under your $2000 budget and give you more flexibility. The downside is, these mini-PCs have soldered RAM

Morefine 4080m with GMKtek evo-x1 via Oculink

I have GMKteks AD-GP1 as well and it works perfectly on the Evo-X1 on Oculink. But the USB4 connection doesn’t work though, I think because it’s fried now on the miniPC lol
