Looking for a mini PC
Recently picked up a GMKtec Evo X1 after tons of research. Can say it's great: stable and very little bloatware, none really just uninstalled a few Windows Store apps that I didn't need. I don't know the cycle of these mini PCs, but so far so good with brand.

Is there a mini PC that can rival Mac Mini M4 given the same price point?
The shop happens to currently have two customer who own Mac Mini M4 (one 24GB, one 32GB) which also invested in the GMKtec EVO-X1 64GB. Both owners had software & graphics requirements not by the Mac or MacOS. Both have provided unique perspectives. One "kicking & screaming" as they were required to

FEVM FAEX1 - AI Max+ 395 with Oculink
If I might make a small suggestion. Look into the GMKTec EVO X1. It's got the AMD 370 HX apu with the 870m igpu. The gpu is NOWHERE near as powerful as the 8060s, BUT the model comes with a built in oculink port, its bios works perfectly with dGpu setups and it also an extremely capable unit. Iirc t

Sudden Volume Issue
I've had similar volume issues with updates in the last couple of weeks with the problem coming and going. It's OK at the moment with everything up to date. I'm running a GMKtec EVO-X1 Mini-PC with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Strix Point that has the Radeon 890 iGPU.

Comparison for Gaming
I also travel a lot and just picked up the EVO-X1. It weights only 480g without the metal sleeve and heavy feet and plays everything I throw at it. Metal sleeve is 102g, 4 x metal feet 14g. Oh yeah, I also run it off an Anker 100W wall power supply (A2343) which weighs 174g plus an Anker 240W Type C

GMKTec EVO-T1 - Windows 11 question
Alot of this people just rant because they don't like one thing or dislike another. The OS that comes is fine, and it is legitimate. This companies that make tmini PCs have contracts in place that allow them to get legitimate keys. So don't listen to any of this guys that say it's not legitimate. If

TB5 (and USB4v2 by virtue) will be amazing!
The Evo X1 seems like an excellent HX 370 MiniPC. How are the BIOS/UEFI options in it? I was planning to get one but the Minisforum X1 Pro also caught my attention at the same time. Now GMKtec also has the Evo T1 which is the 285H variant (also with Oculink!).
