I can see that Nut65 has better, wider rubber feet. I had problem with those on older Weikav models. Nice that they have noticed, too. The same goes for the 2.4G dongle compartment. I didn't get one detail - are other parts (like plates) interchangable? I mean, can Nut65 use already existing Lucky65

This is one of the best board from KBD, but it's a thing in the past. for 100 CAD, you can get a Weikav nut65 or Wobkey zen65, which offer more modern features and good sound profiles. EDIT: I have my personal kink for the kbd mkii. Please don't mind me as it was one of my go to board

I'd start by looking into the the neo boards https://www.qwertykeys.com/Maybe the Weikav Nut65. Vendors: https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/If you're in the US, I'd reccomend Milktooth, Unikeys, and Cannonkeys. Embarrassing mistake I've made when trying to customize a keyboard was strippi

I just got into this scene last year. I'd highly recommend the Nut65. There's a lot to like there for $80 US. 220 grit anodized finish, ball catch assembly, VIA support, a pretty large battery, and tri mode hotswappable pcb. You can also buy additional plates in different materials, as well as a thi

The gravastar Mercury is actually really solid for the price if you like the looks. I build custom keyboards so i prefer mechanical keyboards over HE boards for now, until the feel and sound of HE switches improves. For someone looking for a great entry level custom board, the weikav lucky 65v3, wei

I own a couple of Nut65s. One has a brass plate, an aftermarket 1.6mm PCB (no flex cuts), HMX Firecrackers, and cheap-ish ABS keycaps. The other one has a FR4 plate (non flex cuts), stock PCB, Gateron Type R switches, and Drop MT3 keycaps. I enjoy both, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend them. The

Batteries, especially Lithium Ion (Li-on) will eventually swell or go big eventually since thats how they degrade. You'll notice it really early on keyboards when they dont work wirelessly anymore. A lot of these use readily available batteries so finding a replacement should be somewhat easy. With
