It really depends on your use case. If you are using it as a travel router with < 300Mbps VPN speeds, then the AX is fine. The UTR works like the Gl-iNet - Allows rebroadcasting a Wifi Network as your own, you can use their VPN services (currently only WireGuard and their Gateway specific Teleport). I am not getting one despite being a Unifi user is because of the Wifi 5 and the Beryl 7 coming out around the corner.
