I really reget getting my monitor
many Reddit users report that the Gigabyte M27UA, and similar Gigabyte monitors like the M27Q, have a poor HDR experience due to their standard HDR400 implementation with insufficient brightness and lack of local dimming, leading to washed-out or overly dark images instead of the intended HDR effect

My setup Not - “in dead end”.
Fake washed out HDR M27Q vs the real hdr on Aoc, you will see 600% difference when u play HDR games like Last of us flashlight in dark from, horizon forbidden west will show the biggest difference of all, the world will look different…you just have to setup hdr in ps5 and in games perfectly. Can't decide which one to keep. Mini-LED or WOLED. KTC M27T6 vs ASUS XG27AQDMG
The KTC M27T6 has a VA panel, but honestly, it looks great with NO Local Dimming in SDR, except when playing a dark game, Alan Wake 2, Amnesia or something. And when Local Dimming is turned on, everything kind of looks washed out, faces look blown out, but also washed out at the same time, there is

Managed to tuck this into an NYC apartment…
This is correct. Although you can "enable" g-sync and you may think its working, it's not. It also forces a form of v-sync that drastically increases latency. "However, there are some issues. When the user interface is flipped in Windows' display settings, it seems to apply some form of V-SYNC even

My new rig
Hey it’s not my problem or just a thing of going outside to touch some wood 🪵haha. There is a lot of post of gigabyte monitors failing (dead pixels, panel failures, gf27f and m27q broken over a year of use, g24f2 also broken ), so its something concerning. If giga products are good in general someth

I bought a 300hz monitor and can't tell the difference from my old 170hz monitor. Am I old, or is it just not worth it?
I moved from a M27Q (the inferior rev.2) to MO27Q2. I didn't pay too much for the latter (was on sale for A$490, which was close to A$420 I paid for the M27Q few years ago, should be cheaper when including inflation. Anyways the first day I wasn't all that impressed by the speed, only impressed by t

Quick question on monitor
It'll probably end up as a secondary monitor eventually, though it'll be a temporary main monitor. As for the speakers, it's because I don't have any dedicated speakers. I realize that speakers have gone down in quality on monitors over time. It's obvious with this crappy HP monitor from windows 7 e
