My M27Q X started doing this too a few days ago, wondering if it's cooked as well. I wonder if other similar monitors have this problem, since when I bought this monitor a few years ago, I saw people talking about how gigabyte isn't the best brand for monitors. I wonder if that's related.

For around $200, I’d go with a good 1440p IPS monitor with 120Hz support. Something like the Gigabyte M27Q or LG UltraGear 27GP850-B would fit PS5 really well and still feel smooth in games like Marvel Rivals and Overwatch 2.

Thanks for the detailed heads-up on that LG! It’s crazy how these brands trade off between panel quality control and actual performance. I actually ended up pulling the trigger on the Gigabyte M27Q P recently, since it was just 20 bucks more and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I definitely noticed

My M27Q X was near perfect... Till it died of bad voltage handling (manufacturer issue) and my warranty was denied. Now Im stuck with a worse viewing angles better response time Asus. Tried 3 monitors this is the best of the bunch with similar specs. Yup you can't win with everything in monitors.
