I bought a 300hz monitor and can't tell the difference from my old 170hz monitor. Am I old, or is it just not worth it?

Struggling to choose between OLED or LCD monitor.
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m27q-rev-2-0 This one? Pretty bad 30% refresh rate compliance so motion will be pretty blurry even at 170hz. Aim for around 50% refresh rate compliance or as some other reviewers call it "percent in window" if you can find the figures.
