My new rig
Hey it’s not my problem or just a thing of going outside to touch some wood 🪵haha. There is a lot of post of gigabyte monitors failing (dead pixels, panel failures, gf27f and m27q broken over a year of use, g24f2 also broken ), so its something concerning. If giga products are good in general someth

I bought a 300hz monitor and can't tell the difference from my old 170hz monitor. Am I old, or is it just not worth it?
I moved from a M27Q (the inferior rev.2) to MO27Q2. I didn't pay too much for the latter (was on sale for A$490, which was close to A$420 I paid for the M27Q few years ago, should be cheaper when including inflation. Anyways the first day I wasn't all that impressed by the speed, only impressed by t

Quick question on monitor
It'll probably end up as a secondary monitor eventually, though it'll be a temporary main monitor. As for the speakers, it's because I don't have any dedicated speakers. I realize that speakers have gone down in quality on monitors over time. It's obvious with this crappy HP monitor from windows 7 e

For those who work on an OLED - how bad is the text fringing really?
If only I could get a decent IPS at MSRP. My M27Q X died after 12 months, warranty denied do to "non official seller" which is fine I knew the risk. But I can't get a decent IPS 1440p at less than an OLED, the regular recommended models are not on stock and to get one I have to pay 450-550 USD.or ju

Looking for a monitor but there always seems to be an issue
My M27Q X was near perfect... Till it died of bad voltage handling (manufacturer issue) and my warranty was denied. Now Im stuck with a worse viewing angles better response time Asus. Tried 3 monitors this is the best of the bunch with similar specs. Yup you can't win with everything in monitors.

Gigabyte should stop making monitors.
then what's the difference between reputated company like Gigabyte and chinese company like KORUI .... I know they import panel from Samsung or someone else .. but the backlight bleed or glow is fully due to their manufacturing process .. Do you remember G24 lineup issue ?? M27Q is suppose to be hig

Which monitor should I get MSI OLED or Gigabyte 4K?
I know basically all the PC enthusiasts brands are bad now, but Gigabyte's support is bad enough that I've bought my last Gigabyte product. I have an M27Q that I'm mostly happy with. However very few people out there have gotten the USB C display connection to work (me included)

Dead Pixels?
Keeping this thread alive in 2025. I bought a gigabyte m27q rev 2.0 thursday Nov 20 and used it probably a total of 12 hours gaming over the weekend. Monday Nov 24 i see a dead pixel. The next day there were 2. It seems Gigabyte still has the same issue after 4 years. Trying to get it replaced since

When does the Acer Nitro XV275K P5biipruzx become available?
OSD is terrible and there are no firmware updates to fix that or change the UI. Left one is ASUS M27Q Pro and the right one is the Acer in question. FYI this is not even in 4k cause it’s running through a MacBook and a dock. I’ll try to get a better compare running from my PC that can running both t
