I just got a Geekom A5 32G. love it. The guy who invented task manager owns a Geekcom that's why I went with that brand. Check out Dave's Garage.

Looking to buy a mini-PC and need some help.
Maybe a GEEKOM A5 Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5825U, 16GB RAM&512GB SSD, Windows 11 PRO. They also have a three year warranty. It is a newer model that will last you for more than just two years. It also has the memory card reader on the side. They do have other models too depending on your budget.

Best mini pc under $450, for everyday tasks?
I've gone through three (all returned to Amazon due to various failures). These were one Beelink, and two Geekom model A5. My fourth one is a cheap $289 and so far, it's way better than the other three. I don't do gaming so this is perfectly fine for me. KAMRUI Pinova P1 Mini PC Computer, AMD Ryzen

You can upgrade the RAM and storage in Mini-PCs now and they have come a long way. This is $439 USD and has a 3 year warranty. Is Geekom a sketchy brand?
Yes and No My IT organization has bought many Geekom Mini PCs. The Air 12 have been pretty bad. They die randomly and won't turn back on. Mini PC Windows Buying Help: Geekom, Beelink, or GMKtec? (Max €500 Budget)
It's only been a month but I've bought two Geekom computers (through Amazon BTW, order direct through Geekom didn't go very well and if had to cancel) and I'm happy with both as far as performance goes. Bought an A8 for myself to do some video editing on, I think it can handle some light gaming but

Buy mini-PC for browsing and stuff but reliable as possible !
Geekom A5 would be more than enough for your parents @ $349. I just purchased and it will do any and everything I need.
