Your favourite smartwatch?
I used to be in your shoes. Battery life is still Apple Watch’s Achilles heal. The Garmin Fenix 8 is pointlessly expensive So I have TWO recommendations for you: Garmin Fenix 7: I still can’t come up with a reason to get the 8. The 7 does everything you need it to but… So does the Garmin Fenix 5! Fi

Garmin Epix 2 vs Suunto Race 2
Are you sure about Garmin discontinuing the support for Epix 2? In my understanding they do not offer the new features for ”F7 line-up” buy do bring any essential security updates and bug fixes. Anyhow, I do understand your frustration towards Garmin as I’ve spied the conversations and updates about

Out with the new, in with the old!
You have picked one of the greatest watches Garmin has released ever, IMO. The Fenix 7 Pro SS is one of the goats.

Fenix 7 or 8 dilemma
Fenix 7 has rubber rings, so pressing buttons underwater, water can find its way in. Garmin does seem pretty good about dealing with it under warranty, however, the 8 has induction buttons so there is no holes for water to get through.

Sleep has been great lately, here's what I've been doing.
I spent 3 years wearing my Garmin Fenix sport activity watch and leveraging the sleep management features to change my behaviors and improve my sleep. While I have over 30 variables identified, the most important ones for me are:• Conistent schedule (bedtime, wake time)• Wind down time before bed• N

Is there a "best " Fitbit for swimming?
I would agree with the other post, if you want to get into tris, garmin is your best bet. The cool thing is, while the top of the line models are expensive, a couple of generations older are still awesome. My recommendation would be for a Fenix 7. First time ever watch buyer. How many years out of Fenix 8?
I have been using a Forerunner 235 since 2018. Wear it all day every day, and run 5-6 days a week. Multiple 50Ks since I got it. Just in the last month that the battery has started to drain faster, but I’ve also been using a HR chest strap which I believe contributes to the battery drain. Currently

Is the Fenix 7 Pro 47mm too big for me?
Thanks all for your opinions I have decided to buy it. Pictured is a demo Fenix 8 47mm that I tried for rough size comparison for the sold out Fenix 7 Pro at this store. I purchased the 7 pro sapphire solar for about 700aud. First Garmin watch and really liked the value for what will hopefully last

Upgrade from Fenix 6 Pro to Fenix 8 or wait for 9?
Given that Fenix 8 was released recently, you might wait for quite a while for Garmin to release 9 F8 was released 16 months after F7 Pro. We are now at 8 months, so at half point. Historically, pre-covid, the release cycle between Fenix models was 11 - 19 months. From what I've seen and heard, Garm

Decision fatigue on new watch
My Fenix 6x was just fine (though a little scratched up from a bike fall). I got the Fenix 7 Pro Solar Sapphire from RecoveryforAthletes.com. Sale price was $449, and because i took a break while i had it in my cart, a sales rep emailed me and offered me an additional $30 off. So $419 before sales t
