2 years now using both Apple Watch Ultra (1&2) and a Garmin Epix Pro 2 Sapphire. I have done short triathlon (and all the training), obstacle course races, golf, lifting, hiking and racquet sports with the watches. As I don't do marathons, full tris or multi day hikes in the woods (thus rendering th

TLDR: get a heart rate strap, connect everything to your edge once, and call it a day- no need to use the watch for anything. Every time you go for a ride just turn on the edge and everything else will connect automatically, then sync to your phone at the end of the ride. I have the same set up (edg

I agree. I workout and train with both the AWU and an Epix Pro 2 Sapphire. The Garmin cadence locks somewhat frequently. The AWU never has. The Garmin has actually crashed twice, mid activity. This has never happened with the AWU. Apple seems to overestimate calories burned. Garmin is much more real

Looks great. Speaking as a guy, in my opinion women do the chunky watch look way better than men (same with OS sunnies, jewellery, boyfriend tees and jeans looks!) I’m a guy and builder with a 51mm Epix Pro 2, so not skinny white office arms like I’d otherwise have and it feels good. For some reason

The most direct, truthful, answer for me is that I switched back to using an iPhone. When I use Android, it's Garmin. There's no good alternative in that space. However z I do believe the Apple Watch Ultra is the best smartwatch available overall. I've used a Garmin Epix Pro 2 Sapphire regularly sin

and the venu3 is 449 dollars, versus the Active 2 under 100 my garmin epix pro 2 51mm was almost 1200 dollars, my Trex 3 from Amazfit, which does pretty much everything the Garmin does, was 234 dollars do the math, its a no brainer, Garmin is MEGA overpriced, period

Cool watch but man they’re overpriced (as are watches feat automatic movements). A basic 5600 Gshock square solar is prob my fave all time everyday watch. I currently have a 5600 solar as well as a 2009 Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 500m quartz and an 18ct Continental (a Swiss watch that I won in

Garmin watches are hard to beat. Was thinking about an instinct, but when the Fenix 8 was released, I found an Epix Pro 2 Sapphire 51mm new on sale same price as an instinct. Thought I’d still wear my Tag Heuer dive watch and Casio 5600 occasionally but the Garmin is a game changer. I’m a self emplo

You may be in a minority, but it is a very real problem. I have been working on this for 5 months now with Support, talking with Bryce in this forum, and even had a video call with someone from the Helio Strap team. I have a Cheetah (Round), a T-Rex 3 (not pro), and a Helio Strap. Of the three, the
