JAPAN JPEG HAUL

Exactly! I normally shoot fine jpeg + RAW so I have the option to edit but using recipes helps define a shoot at the time and find a certain aesthetic in the moment. I've only had my XT4 for a few months now and I've absolutely fallen in love with the Fujifilm system.

Fujifilm and LUTs - did I pick the wrong brand or something?

Whereas the free LUT pack you downloading requires 709 as an input, you do need to transform the color from FLOG to 709. Ignored whoever you read about 2020. Resolve doesn't have a LUT (or a CST) for this transform natively, but just like you downloaded and installed a LUT pack, you can download and

Struggling to find the right camera. Fuji XT5 owner thinking of switching. Need advice.

The post is all over the place. Telling us too much but not telling us the important. The important takeaway from all of that information is that you do not edit your raw files, which to be completely honest, is at the very minimum 50% of how the resulting image looks nowadays. If you never edit, Fu

The Last Week On The Hill (Lewis County)

Digital! Taken with a Fujifilm Mirrorless X-T4. I took these photos with a Schneider-Kreuznach Curtagon 28mm f4. The lens is a bit soft but I love the character. I’ve just been playing around a bit with editing too (and trying to use the defects to an advantage)

Fujifilm X-T4 vs Nikon Zf: Has Anyone Made the Switch?

I went from a Fuji X-T4 to a X-S10 (which I still have) to a Nikon Zf. The main things that I originally liked about Fujifilm were the recipes and colors out of the camera, plus the small f/2 lenses. The thing that struck me when I tried an Zf with the 24-120mm f/4 was how much fun it was to use. Ni

Lumix GX9 vs Fujifilm X-E4

I can only share you my own experience regarding Fujifilm and Micro 4/3: I have been a Micro 4/3 shooter since 2008. But in 2014 I was seduced by the promise of Fuji’s X system: small cameras with a larger sensor and small but optically competent lenses, kinda like “a better M43” if you will. I boug

Picked up an X-PRO 2 two weeks ago—and now I’m torn

I just bought an X-T4. Prior to that my kit was X-Pro2, XF 16-80mm f/4, XF56mm f/1.2, Voigtlander 18mm f/2.8 color skopar, and Fujifilm X-M adapter with Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton. I had been doing some pseudo professional work for favors to friends and family that led me to feel the weak points

Why is Lumix always never mentioned when it comes to camera brands?

I'd like to go slightly further than you. Literally about specific pieces of hardware. You can't really compare brands. Like for example... Ex. Fujifilm GFX 100 II is super sexy. But super pricey. XT4 is a little miracle of technology when you think about it, especially for the price... But weirdly

Unable to make meaningful photos, how to continue?

First of all, are you using AI for this post? The abundance of hyphens is bothering me, but I get what you're saying.lol I'm a wedding photographer and I've noticed that whenever I take photos outside of work, they still have a "wedding-ish" vibe. Occupational hazard, I guess. I realized it might be
