Most overrated camera
I still believe the ae1 cost as much as a Nikon f2, f3. Also fujifilm x trans ii cameras used cost 500 dollars. Omg this is insane. I have the xt20 and xt4. Both are overpriced used lol.

JAPAN JPEG HAUL
Exactly! I normally shoot fine jpeg + RAW so I have the option to edit but using recipes helps define a shoot at the time and find a certain aesthetic in the moment. I've only had my XT4 for a few months now and I've absolutely fallen in love with the Fujifilm system.

What camera should I get?
The X-T4 Mirrorless Kit: (body + XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4) even against pricier full-frame flagships (€3000+), X-t4 IS THE Best Camera because no expensive model matches it. Other than the X-S20 which is the same with PASM instead of retro dials. I cannot insist enough on how much this camera is an actual

Why did you chose Nikon ?
I recently switched over from Fujifilm (XT4) as APSC was getting a little limiting for my growing work demands in photo and video. I considered the big 3, and Nikon was the company that was showing the most ambition in the space, probably because of how far they've lagged behind the competition in e

What the dark night sky looks like now due to Starlink satellites
Thank you so much. I've been doing Astro more seriously since 5 to 6 years ago, so this is kind of a culmination of that I've learner over the past few years. Altought to be honest I haven't evolved much since 2022. You can shoot the milky way with almost anything, I've done it with the phone and th

Wanna buy my first camera for getting into photography/videography/cinematography under 1000 euro. What should I get??
Look into Fujifilm. You‘ll get a used XT4 for under 1000€ and it will give you 4K 60fps 10bit. You won’t get the same with Sony unless spending a lot more. I‘ve been using mine professionally for years :)

What are we buying ourselves for Christmas?
Probably gonna get irresponsible with it and get a new camera and lenses. Fujifilm xt3 or xt4, most likely. Not sure if the extra 400 or so for the xt4 is worth it when I could get another lens for that much.

Bought the Z6 with the Nikkor 24-70mm f/4 S only 9k shuttercount for 1000€
Get a 40mm. I picked up a Z6 for around $900CAD last year with 20k shutter count. These cameras are an absolute steal on the used market. I love my Fujifilm cameras but a used xt4 is $1500CAD and a x100t is $1200CAD. There's no hype at all around the old Z cameras. They're not what the cool kids are

Some random pictures I took in Rotterdam
For sure. I'm a big fan of the Fujifilm ecosystem. I'm using an XT4 now with fuji and viltrox/sigma lenses, but I've had all XT's since the first one.

looking to buy birding camera
I started 2 years ago with a Fujifilm X-T5 and the Fujinon 70-300mm. Since I also had a background with old film camera I went with Fuji Mirrorless for the vintage approach. You can find the 70-300mm (which gives you an equivalent to a 100-450mm since the sensor is APS-C) pretty cheap if you look fo
