Just got one about an hour ago. Same issue. Loosened 2 of the 3 screws in back holding the black plastic plate in place and heard/felt something move in Lens. Tightened them back up tho not as tight as they were. Put on Camera and works PERFECT now. This thread saved me PITA of returning and grabbin

Xt10/20 and xt1 I think a great beginner camera for cheap .plenty of dials to play with. Viewfinder and tilt screen .

The Xtrans II sensor is still my favourite when it comes to jpegs, I personally think it's the most "filmic". Although it is slow it is still nice to shoot with, although not giving the sharpest image. So id say anything with that sensor. Xpro 1, XE2, XT10, X100S. Some you'll find for under $400. I

If you want some weather resistance the xt1 but for me xt10 is a good camera. Size wise smaller then xt1 and similar to xe1/2 ( and x100 models if pancake lens ) . It has a Viewfinder and tilt screen where the xe1/2/3 and early x100 models had fixed screen . Has some nice physical dials and a flash
