If Leica didn't exist, what other brand would you be using?
I know exactly what I'd be using: a Fujifilm X-Pro3 with the 14/2.8, 18/2, 35/1.4, 56/1.2, and 50-140. The X-Pro3 is my favorite non-M camera.

Adapting m glass to Fuji
It should work, nothing much to roast you tbh as I’m sure quite a good no of people do it. The first question is “Why are you looking to buy a second camera?” What is it that you are missing now? If it’s portrait focal length then the 43 may help but it’s still relatively wide.
